Docket: FBT-CV26-6164394-S (Bridgeport).
Status: LIVE. Transferred from Stamford to Bridgeport September 10, 2026; a partial withdrawal against particular defendants was filed October 9, 2026 and the case remains pending.
Parties. Plaintiff Mosaic Construction, LLC of Rosemont, Illinois. Defendants SLH Connecticut LLC (owner of 305 Hathaway Drive, Stratford), CGM Acoustics, Inc., B & G Piping Co., Ralph Camputaro & Son Excavating Inc., All Electric Construction & Communication, LLC, Turner Mechanical Services, Inc. and M. Gottfried, Incorporated.
What the complaint says. Mosaic signed a construction agreement with SLH on August 27, 2024 to serve as general contractor for a cannabis cultivation and manufacturing facility, started work in September 2024, performed change orders at SLH’s direction over the following year, and says it was not paid. It sues to foreclose its mechanic’s lien; the subcontractors are named because they hold their own liens on the property.
What happened. Filed August 13, 2026 in the Stamford-Norwalk district. Mosaic moved to transfer venue; Judge Kristin Connors granted the motion September 10, 2026 and the case moved to Bridgeport. Foreclosure mediation was marked ineligible. On October 9, 2026 Mosaic withdrew the action against particular defendants; the court granted a further motion October 13, 2026.
