Docket: MMX-CV26-6050349-S (Middletown).

Status: CLOSED. Withdrawn by the plaintiff August 11, 2026.

Parties. Plaintiff Capital One, N.A., successor by merger to Discover Bank. Defendant Andrew Simonow, self-represented.

What the complaint says. Default on an open-end credit account.

What happened. Filed June 10, 2026. On June 29, 2026 Simonow moved to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction and insufficient service, with an affidavit stating he was not served at his usual place of abode and listing where he stays when in Connecticut. On August 11, 2026 he filed a supplemental notice attaching a Florida jury summons, and the same day Capital One withdrew the action.

Status. Closed by withdrawal. This is a personal consumer-debt matter; it is included because it appears in the compiled list of Simonow-related civil cases, and the Florida filing bears on where he now lives.

Documents below are published exactly as they appear on the Judicial Branch’s civil case look-up (civilinquiry.jud.ct.gov). The full docket for every case is public; CannaTimes publishes the leading complaint and the outcome documents, and describes the rest in the text above.
