An affiliate of Connecticut CannaTimes has launched CannaScope Lite, a new beta tool designed to make Connecticut cannabis laboratory results easier for consumers to search and compare.
The app organizes published COA data and allows users to sort results by categories including Yeast & Mold, Aerobic Bacteria, and Heavy Metals. Results can be ranked over different time periods, and each entry links directly to the laboratory’s own COA PDF so users can review the underlying report themselves.
One of the tool’s main purposes is to help people who are especially sensitive to mold and yeast better understand what was actually reported on a product’s laboratory test before buying or using it.
Importantly, CannaScope Lite is not an accusation tool. A higher result does not mean a producer, laboratory, dispensary, or product did anything wrong, and the app does not label compliant products as unsafe. It simply organizes reported laboratory data in a way that is easier to review.
The app is still in beta, so users may encounter bugs, missing records, formatting problems, or other glitches while development continues.
The value is simple: see the reported number, open the COA, and make your own informed decision.
