At CT CannaTimes, we operate as a reader-fed, independently verified news source. Much of our reporting originates from community submissions, public records, vendor concerns, and reader-supplied information.

We do not target individuals or businesses; instead, we review claims, research them thoroughly, and publish only when the information aligns with verifiable facts and is in the interest of public transparency and cannabis community safety.

Our publication’s track record reflects this mission clearly:

We protect the Connecticut cannabis community by verifying safety concerns, documenting factual issues, and amplifying information that affects consumers, vendors, applicants, and event hosts.

Our priority is, and has always been, truth, public accountability, and community protection.

In keeping with this responsibility, CT CannaTimes is sharing the following official statement issued directly by Camp Laughing Grass regarding the status of Frost Fest:

Official Statement — Camp Laughing Grass

Good morning,

My name is Trinity Madison, owner of Camp Laughing Grass and co-host of Frost Fest in partnership with Killah Smokefest. As our community knows, we take guest safety, comfort, and overall experience extremely seriously.

I arrived on site at the Ramada Inn last night to conduct a firsthand assessment of the property. After a thorough review, I identified multiple conditions that do not meet the standards required to safely and responsibly host this event.

At this time, it is highly likely that Frost Fest will be placed on hold until these issues—including several serious health and safety violations—are properly addressed by hotel management.

Our attendees, vendors, and partners deserve a clean, safe, and professionally maintained environment. I will provide a full update as soon as I have more information.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to ensure the integrity and safety of this event.

Stay lifted,

Trinity

Publisher’s Note

CT CannaTimes is sharing this statement in full for accuracy and fairness.

We will continue to review all reader submissions, property assessments, and vendor safety concerns as they become available.

Our commitment remains unchanged: fact-checked reporting, public transparency, and safeguarding the Connecticut cannabis community.
